Tallgrass Recovery offers a community-based, mentor-focused, 12-Step approach to a 30 day residential program. Tallgrass Recovery is committed to provide the premier, affordable, 12-step spiritual model of recovery from alcoholism and chemical dependency.
Alcoholism:The goal of treatment for alcoholism is abstinence. Those with poor social support, poor motivation, or psychiatric disorders tend to relapse within a few years of treatment. For these people, success is measured by longer periods of abstinence, reduced use of alcohol, better health, and improved social functioning. Recovery and Maintenance are usually based on 12 step programs and AA meetings.Substance Abuse:Substance rehabs focus on helping individuals recover from substance abuse, including alcohol and drug addiction (both illegal and prescription drugs). They often include the opportunity to engage in both individual as well as group therapy.

Inpatient:Residential treatment programs are those that offer housing and meals in addition to substance abuse treatment. Rehab facilities that offer residential treatment allow patients to focus solely on recovery, in an environment totally separate from their lives. Guests approved for enrollment will find this 30-day residential spiritual retreat to be the beginning of the most significant spiritual experience of their live. Tallgrass Recovery believes in world class quality and excellence in everything they do to provide dignity and respect and a message of hope and healing to all they serve.Sober Living Homes:Tallgrass Recovery runs two gender-specific homes: Norton, a womens residence, and Doodler, a home for men. The sober living homes were designed to put personal recovery first. The homes are a community of people living together and sharing a unique goal: recovery from alcoholism and drug addiction. Regular attendance at 12-step meetings, sponsors, and a stable home environment living with like-minded individuals in recovery provide a solid foundation for the early months and years of sobriety one day at a time. Member resident fees are $500 per month. These fees include residency, utilities, cable, and local telephone service.Aftercare Support:Completing a drug or alcohol rehab program shouldn\'t spell the end of substance abuse treatment. Aftercare involves making a sustainable plan for recovery, including ongoing support. This can include sober living arrangements like halfway houses, career counseling, and setting a patient up with community programs like Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) or Narcotics Anonymous (NA).
Group Therapy:Group therapy is any therapeutic work that happens in a group (not one-on-one). There are a number of different group therapy modalities, including support groups, experiential therapy, psycho-education, and more. Group therapy involves treatment as well as processing interaction between group members.
